For MicroPrint 45CH converters, sold by HP & III, the serial number is coded as: YYMMDD-45CHV.V-XX, where YY=year, MM=month, DD=day, V.V=Firmware Version Number, and XX = unit number shipped that day. For example, S/N 970308-45CH1.9-01 represents the first unit shipped 3/8/97 with version 1.9 firmware. To find the correct manual for your converter, match the firmware version in your converter serial number with the version number shown in parentheses to the left.
